The Brenton Builds Process
Initial Contact
Ready for a new home? More space? A parents retreat? Fill out our enquiry form and we will send to you our pre qualifying questionnaire. This questionnaire makes sure that your expectations as the client and our expectations as the builder are aligned. As a company that chooses quality over quantity, we want to make sure we are the right fit for each other.
As a local builder we also have access to an abundance of trades & quality building designers, architects and engineers.

Site visit & Proposal
Once we have qualified your project, we will then arrange an on site meeting with you to thoroughly discuss your plans, budget, expectations & concerns.
Our next step is to provide you with our building proposal quote. This is a professional service that provides you with a complete cost breakdown including an inclusion & exclusion list, PC & PS list, trade list breakdown and much more.
Once we receive your building proposal deposit, the process can take anyway from 2-4 weeks to complete your proposal, depending on the size and requirements of the project.

Schedule
Once you have received your building proposal, now is the time to go through it thoroughly in your own time. When you are ready we will schedule in another meeting with the builder at a suitable time. In this meeting we can go through the proposal in detail and discuss any concerns or queries you have. So be sure to have your questions ready.
Once you are agreeable to the final proposal, we will then provide you with a Master Builder's contract agreement and a draft building schedule that outlines the estimated time frame and trade schedule for your project.
3.
Contract & Build
Once contracts have been signed, your build date is confirmed and a final estimated schedule is completed.
You will then receive access to our building software client portal. This portal allows you to see variations instantly, invoices, progress payments, selections, defects and more!
We will also schedule in weekly or fortnightly meetings to provide you with your build updates throughout the process.
